After having worked at home care agencies for several years, founders Michael Appel (product & operations) and Oren Waldman (technology) launched ARROW in 2003 to commercialize their care coordination expertise and to serve the greater market.
Before co-founding ARROW, Michael worked at a large New York based home care agency where he developed several software applications. He also served an IT strategy consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton. He separately launched Sabre Computer Systems, a successful start-up venture that provided applications and systems to small businesses.
Oren is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and developer with expertise in numerous applications. He is the primary developer behind ARROW. Prior to ARROW, Oren served as the management information systems director for a licensed New York home health agency for nearly seven years, where his responsibilities included application development, network management, and systems integration.
